Inside the Lincoln Park Golf Course site
- Tee-time booking one tap from every page
- Pages for the course, rates, lessons, junior golf and the TrackMan simulator
- A resident-card guide for San Francisco golfers
- Structured data for the course, its hours, location and FAQs
- An llms.txt file built from the same facts as the pages
- Every address from the previous site redirected to its new page
The brief
Lincoln Park has been a San Francisco public golf course since 1902: eighteen holes above the Pacific at Lands End, with the Golden Gate Bridge, the Marin Headlands and the city skyline in view. The site had two jobs. Show that view to people deciding where to play, and get a golfer from a search result to a booked tee time in as few taps as possible.
Built to be found
Every page is static, so it loads quickly on a phone. The course's facts, hours, location and the questions golfers ask are marked up as structured data, and an llms.txt file gives AI assistants the same facts the pages show, drawn from one source. Every address from the previous site redirects to its new home, so the search history the course had already earned carried over.
