Inside the Tallahassee Tung Oil site
- A storefront that reads products, prices and stock live from Wix
- A cart drawer that hands off to Wix's hosted checkout
- Wholesale, gift card, shipping and safety pages
- A customer projects gallery and a woodworking journal
- Product data matched to Google Shopping by SKU
- Existing product and page addresses kept or redirected
The brief
Tallahassee Tung Oil grows, presses and bottles pure tung oil on a family farm on Florida's Gulf Coast, and sells it to woodworkers who care where their finish comes from. The site had to tell that story (grown here, pressed here, dated on the can) and sell the oil without friction.
How it's built
The catalogue, prices, stock and journal stay in Wix, where the team already manages them. A Next.js front end reads them live and hands the cart to Wix's own checkout. The store stays simple to run, while the pages themselves are fast, structured for search, and matched by SKU to the products in Google Shopping.
