A Shopify store designed like a Brooklyn bodega

The brief

Bodega Grass is a Brooklyn shop selling THCa flower, pre-rolls, concentrates and vapes online. Its name promises the corner store, and the site had to deliver it: friendly, a little loud, and clear enough that a first-time buyer can see exactly what's in each jar before adding it to the cart.

How it's built

We designed the brand, Corner Store, Certified, from the bodega itself: a striped awning, a shop-sign logo, deli yellow and the bodega cat. It's built as a layer on Shopify's Horizon theme, so checkout, payments and inventory stay in Shopify, where the team already runs them. Shoppers browse by shelf or by how they want to feel, pick a pack or a weight from priced cards, and find each product's lab results under the buy box, laid out as a receipt. Every page gets its own search title and description, written from the product's own data, so a new product is ready for search the day it's added.
